PAN AM FLIGHT OVER LOCKERBIE
On 21 December 1988, flight Pan Am 103 was en route from Heathrow to JFK when a bomb exploded in its hold over Lockerbie, killing 270 people, including 43 British citizens and 190 Americans. It was the worst ever terror attack on British soil and the first major act of terrorism against US citizens.
This was my own awakening that jihad terrorists were a threat near home…
I had travelled through Lockerbie circa 1983, on a road trip to Aberdeen. And stopped at the petrol filling station - Toll Bar Garage. Wreckage from the bombed aircraft fell in that area.
Although I was not there at the same place and time as the jihadi attack, I had been at the same place. I do feel a personal connection.
The Lockerbie Memorial Garden is a short distance from the garage.

Lee Rigby, a fusilier in the British army, was murdered by two men on the streets of Woolwich, London. The terrorists tried, but failed, to decapitate him.

5 December 2015 – Leytonstone Station attack
Terrorist, armed with a knife, who attacked tube passengers at Leytonstone station in London, and tried to behead one of them.

A terrorist put a bomb on an underground train. It failed to detonate properly, but still managed to injure about 30 people.

A terrorist deliberately rammed a car into cyclists and pedestrians by the Houses of Parliament.
Salih Khater – born in Sudan
31 December 2018 – Manchester Victoria station stabbings (New Years Eve)
Mohamud stabbed a 56-year-old man multiple times. Mohamud then proceeded to slash a 57-year-old woman across the face before stabbing her multiple times. A police officer was also stabbed during the arrest.

29 November 2019 – Fishmongers Hall & London Bridge
Two University of Cambridge alumni were murdered at a rehabilitation event at Fishmongers’ Hall. The terrorist had previously been jailed for planning terror attacks.

9 January 2020 – attack on prison officers at HMP Whitemoor
Two prisoners carrying makeshift blades and wearing fake suicide belts attacked prison officers at HMP Whitemoor.

20 June 2020 – Forbury Gardens stabbings
A terrorist attacked people in Forbury Gardens in Reading, Berkshire. Three men died from their wounds.

Sir David Amess MP was murdered during a constituency surgery in Leigh on Sea.

An explosive device carried by the passenger ignited inside a taxi outside Liverpool Women’s Hospital, killing him and injuring the driver.

15 January 2022 – siege at Congregation Beth Israel synagogue
While it took place in Texas, this hostage siege was carried out by a British Muslim who had travelled to the US. The terrorist interrupted a morning service at a synagogue in Colleyville and was shot and killed after a 10-hour standoff with police.

15 October 2023 – Hartlepool bladed weapon attack
Terrorist murdered a 70-year-old grandfather and attempted to murder a second man (the key target – a Muslim convert to Christianity).

2 October 2025 – the Manchester Yom Kippur Synagogue attack
Two Jewish people were killed in a car-ramming and stabbing attack outside a synagogue in Manchester on Yom Kippur.

Two decades of bloodshed – and a pattern that no serious observer can ignore.
COMPLETE DENIAL OF THE LINK TO ISLAM
From the London bombings of 7/7/2005 onwards, we have not only received the injury of the attacks themselves, we have also been blatantly insulted by politicians.
Politicians add insult to injury.
Politicians, starting with Prime Minister Tony Blair in 2005 have utterly denied any connection with his mythical “true peaceful Islam”. Blair stated that the Koran is beautiful, and he kept a copy on his bedside table. I never did trust Blair, even when he was widely popular a few years earlier. His denial of the link between the Koran and the bombs prompted me to read the Koran for the first time. All the way through - it took a solid week to do. It is hard work, this task requires some stamina! And I was horrified by the contents of the Koran, and still am.
Anyone who has read the Koran and claims it is beautiful and promotes peace and kindness is either blind, or is being deliberately deceitful.
I knew then, in 2005 what my task was to be: to utterly oppose the Blairite lies regarding Islam.
David Cameron became leader of the Conservative Party in late 2005. I tried to communicate with him in various ways, even using snail mail. Regarding the evils of Islam, and quoting several of the verses from the Koran that promote evil.
Cameron became Prime Minister in 2010, forming a coalition government with the Liberal Democrats, led by Nick Clegg.
Boris Johnson became Mayor of London.
In 2013 Fusilier Lee Rigby was murdered on the streets of London, by two jihadi converts to Islam.
They were driving in a car, and looking very deliberately for a British soldier. They saw one walking on the pavement near Woolwich Barracks. They mowed him down, and then murdered him with knives.
Before the police arrived, one of the perpetrators spoke to a camera, and explained exactly their motivation: At-Tawbah (chapter 9 of the Koran) made them do it. And he is not wrong.

After the murder of Lee Rigby there was a consistent barrage of lies from politicians: nothing to do with peaceful Islam, etc.
Prime Minister David Cameron blatantly lied.
Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg blatantly lied.
Mayor of London Boris Johnson blatantly lied.
In later years, Prime Minister Theresa May also blatantly lied about Islam.
They all tell lies! To shield Islam itself from having the blame attached to it.
BORIS SPREADS DISINFORMATION ABOUT ISLAM
Up until 2005 Boris Johnson had a fairly good understanding of Islam and the evils associated with it. At some point between 2005 and 2009 he made a U turn. He now spreads disinformation about Islam.
HAVE THEY STOPPED LYING YET?
I have noticed a very subtle change. I am not sure if others have noticed it.
Politicians seem to have stopped telling the blatant lie that these jihadi attacks are nothing to do with Islam.
When did they start not so blatantly lying? It is hard to spot the sudden absence of something. You notice the first Swallows arriving in springtime. But do you notice the departure of the last Swallows in the Autumn? It takes you a while to realise: I have not seen any Swallows recently.
In 2021 I sent a copy of the slim book “Concise Islam” to nearly all Members of Parliament. Not to Muslim MPs, and not to Sinn Fein MPs. But all the rest of them were sent a paperback copy.

They were sent in batches over several weeks: it is time consuming putting 600+ books into envelopes and printing off a covering letter.
By pure coincidence, the final batch was posted on the morning of the murder of Sir David Amess by a jihadi. And this despite Sir David being active in promoting inter-community dialogue. The jihadis hate us for what we are (we are unbelievers, destined for hell, according to the Koran) not what we do. I hope that the appeasers who wish “happy Eid” etc. would get this harsh fact into their heads!
And there seemed to be an absence of the usual “nothing to do with true peaceful Islam” nonsense, after Sir David was murdered.
And this same absence after the latest attack - at a Synagogue in Manchester.
Interesting… The Overton Window seems to have moved. We just need to persuade politicians, Church leaders etc. to be fully honest now, and pin the blame squarely onto Islam itself.
And they need to pin the blame for the Muslim rape gangs squarely onto Islam itself too. And the various other evils associated with Islam, such as first cousin marriage.
I do persevere with my task of trying to wake up politicians, Church leaders, judges etc. etc. It is a thankless task, but we have to keep going.
