Emails received from MPs, regarding: murals in London glorifying terrorism.
The email to MPs was sent on 7th Feb 2026.
THE EMAIL SENT
There are murals in London that depict a terrorist. Is this glorifying terrorism?
Dear {{Forename}},
It has been brought to my attention that there are murals in London, depicting a known terrorist.
Would such murals be glorifying terrorism? If so, that is against the law.
I am not sending you the images, however if you search online, you will soon find numerous examples. In public locations across East London, particularly in Hackney Wick, Shoreditch, and Brick Lane.
Search for:
“Marwan Barghouti mural London”.
Members of the public have contacted Hackney council, in order to have the murals removed. Hackney council is far more likely to take note if an MP were to contact them than a member of the public. Would you do so please?

Over the last 2+ years the level of antisemitism has increased very significantly in the UK. It is vitally important that those in Government particularly must push back against it. And removing all apparent glorifications of terrorism must surely be part of that. Including these murals.
It is important to understand that there are numerous anti-Jew verses in Islamic scripture. Such scriptures promoting hatred cannot simply be dismissed as being of their time, 14 centuries ago. They observably clearly still have resonance today. Very many Muslims believe them literally. It is emphatically NOT a “tiny percentage”. The Koran itself commands that Muslims must believe every verse in the Koran, which of course includes verses promoting religious hatred against Jews. Therefore, following from this fact, Islam itself can only be interpreted accurately in a fundamentalist way. I hope that you will understand this reality, and not be dismissive. Naive wishful thinking is not going to solve this problem.
After every jihad terrorist attack, successive Prime Ministers utterly denied that the evil acts were anything to do with “true peaceful Islam”. Tony Blair, David Cameron, and Boris Johnson (and deputy PM Nick Clegg) have all sought to deceive the public, in order to shield Islam itself from criticism. Theresa May failed to fully address the matter. The public is in no mood to be lied to any more regarding Islam and its numerous evils. Absolute honesty is mandatory now.
In effect these deceitful Prime Ministers are just as harmful (or indeed more harmful) to the task of removing this scourge, as those who blatantly glorify terrorism. These Prime Ministers have shielded Islam itself from the criticism that it justly deserves.
Look up Koran 9:111. This verse guarantees paradise for Muslims who kill or are killed while fighting for the cause of Allah. This verse has NOT been abrogated, and so is just as relevant today as 14 centuries ago. Muslims really believe it, and provably act upon it. Evidence: the jihadi who mowed down and killed numerous pedestrians in New Orleans in January 2025 had a Koran open at this verse in his home.
If a Muslim has done bad deeds (in the Islamic context) such as drinking alcohol, then they believe they will go to hell. Their only guarantee of redemption, according to Koran 9:111, is to kill non-Muslims. As seems to be the case with the alcoholic Muslim who murdered three gay men in a park in Reading. An apparently Westernised Muslim, in his case allegedly a convert to Christianity, who drinks alcohol may very rapidly flip to being extraordinarily dangerous. For the reason outlined above. In his case the radicalisation seems to have happened during his prison sentence for attacking a supermarket security guard, while attempting to steal alcohol.
The time for excuses and naive wishful thinking is long past. Absolute honesty is now required. Or there will be zero hope of resolving the matter.
Please watch this short video. It relates to the lies by David Cameron and Boris Johnson, following the murder of Fusilier Lee Rigby in 2013. The public is far more knowledgeable about Islam now. Any PM who tries to repeat such misinformation following the next jihadi atrocity will simply discredit themselves, and not in fact convince anyone otherwise.
RAMADAN IS NOT A SACRED MONTH
The Islamic month of Ramadan starts soon. There are 4 sacred months in the Islamic calendar and Ramadan is NOT one of them. It has become a regular feature that public figures (including King Charles) state that Ramadan is a holy month. This is factually incorrect. If you are able to make contact with him on this matter, please do. My messages seem not to get through.
We can very easily identify who has a very inadequate, factually incorrect understanding of Islam: those who state that Ramadan is a holy month! It is concerning too, that no Islamic scholar seems to have thought it helpful to correct this theological blunder. What else are they failing to disclose regarding Islam?
King Charles: “Ramadan Mubarak to British Muslims and Muslims around the world as you prepare for the holy month of Ramadan...”
Prime Minister Keir Starmer: “Sending my warmest wishes to Muslim communities across the UK and around the world during the holy month of Ramadan. Ramadan Mubarak.”
Prime Minister Boris Johnson: “Ramadan Mubarak to British Muslims and Muslims around the world as you prepare for the holy month of Ramadan...”
Prime Minister David Cameron: “It’s the holy month of Ramadan – a time when mosques open their doors...”
Jeremy Corbyn MP: “Today I join the many Muslims in the UK and across the world in welcoming the Holy Month of Ramadan.”
Lib Dem leader Ed Davey MP: “I want to send my best wishes to Muslims across Britain and the world in this holy month of Ramadan.”
President Trump: “Ramadan is a holy month for Muslims here in the United States and all across the world.”
President Biden: “I send my warmest greetings for the holy month of Ramadan.”
President Obama: He extended wishes “on this holy month”.
Canadian PM Justin Trudeau: “Tonight, at sundown, Muslim communities in Canada and across the world will mark the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.”
George Weah (former President of Liberia): “Ramadan is a holy month in the Muslim calendar.”
It is troubling that so many prominent figures have such an inaccurate understanding of even this basic fact regarding Islam. It begs the question: what else have they fundamentally not understood about Islam?
Prominent figures should NOT be sending greetings to members of a totalitarian pro-terrorism organisation that seeks world domination and the subjugation of us all. It makes no secret of its aims. By doing so, the prominent figures are de facto enablers of terrorism and enslavement. The name of this organisation: Islam.
The pushback against Islam, to save our Western civilisation, must start by only promoting accurate facts about Islam. Time is very rapidly running out now. Honesty and good moral values are on our side, not on the side of Islam. Every one of us must choose which side we stand on. Islam itself, on very many occasions, has demonstrated that a stable multicultural society is highly improbable to exist. Lebanon was 80% Christian a century ago, now see what an Islamic mess it is. The UK is on the same path, unless you yourself help to halt and reverse it. Urgently.
Kind regards,
etc.

SCOTT ARTHUR
Thank you for contacting me about the murals in London and about antisemitism more widely.
I would like to start by making it absolutely clear that I strongly believe antisemitism has no place in our society. I share the Government’s absolute commitment to rooting out this hatred from our society.
While the Government does not routinely comment on individual Home Office cases, it has confirmed its first priority is protecting national security. That is why all applications for UK immigration status, including asylum claims, are subject to comprehensive security and criminality checks. This includes checks for war crimes, crimes against humanity and terrorism. Each assessment is made using relevant case law and the latest available country of origin information, and where an individual is assessed as presenting a risk to our country, it is right that swift and robust action is taken.
Foreign nationals who commit serious crimes in our country must face the full force of the law and be deported at the earliest opportunity. I am glad the Government is prioritising this, and that it will introduce new measures to speed up the removal process to protect the public, reduce pressure on the prison system, and mitigate the associated expense to taxpayers. Most importantly, the Government has confirmed that, once removed from the UK, foreign offenders will be barred from ever returning.
I believe extremism must also be taken seriously, and I am glad the Government has committed to protecting British Jews and ensuring they feel safe. Not only is it working closely with police and Jewish community stakeholders, it has also allocated £28 million in 2025/26 to the Community Security Trust through the Jewish Community Protective Security Grant. This includes additional emergency funding of £10 million. This funding is used to protect synagogues, Jewish educational establishments and community organisations, contributing towards the cost of security personnel services and, in some cases, CCTV and alarms.
I welcome the Government’s decision to work with the Independent Adviser on Antisemitism, as well as the Antisemitism Working Group, on how to effectively tackle antisemitism and engage Jewish communities around international, national and local events affecting British Jews.
On the specific murals you have mentioned, I understand the Council have been made aware. I do not feel it is appropriate for me to raise this issue with them further- it is a matter for the relevant MP in the area. However, I appreciate you bringing this to my attention, and it is important that we remain vigilant here in Edinburgh of any similar instances of offensive or threatening behaviour.
Thank you once again for taking the time to share your thoughts with me about this highly sensitive issue.
Yours sincerely,
Scott

Thank you for your email.
I do not agree with your characterisation of Islam, Muslims, or public figures that you describe. The UK is a country built on the rule of law, freedom of religion, and mutual respect between communities of different faiths and none. It is important that discussions about terrorism, public art, or religious belief are grounded in evidence and handled in a way that does not generalise about entire communities.
Thank you again for getting in touch.
Kind regards,
Adam

Thank you for your email.
I personally am an atheist. I do not believe in any Gods. Religious texts – whatever their type – mean absolutely nothing to me. I don’t follow them, I don’t believe in them, but I believe people have the right to choose their faith if they so wish.
Best wishes

Thank you for your email.
I understand your concerns regarding the Marwan Barghouti mural in London - this is an issue for the local council in the area. This mural was not initiated by the UK Government but by Civil society organisations and Barghouti’s family.
Regarding your concerns around terrorism, I completely understand the strength of feeling that exists around public safety and the need to tackle terrorism in all its forms. The utterly horrific incidents in New Orleans and Sydney only reminds us how pressing this is and how vital effective counter terrorism is.
I want to be clear that I utterly condemn all terrorism and violent extremism, and I support robust measures to keep people safe.
However, I do not believe that targeting any one faith or community is the right approach. Terrorism must be addressed wherever it occurs, and our response should be based on evidence, uphold the rule of law, and avoid policies that risk dividing communities or undermining the freedoms we all value.
Everyone has different interpretations of the Qur’an, the holy book of Islam, as with any book. However, it is important to note that Islam is a religion of peace and Muslim’s condemn violence. Individual cases certainly do not define a whole community and the Qur’an does not promote violence, as with other religions peace is promoted, not hatred.
Regarding your concern on antisemitism, I join the prime minister in sharing solidarity and grief with the Jewish community who have been affected by the attacks against the Jewish community from Sydney to Manchester. It is important that as a nation we condemn such attacks, and our hearts and thoughts are with the families of those who were killed.
The government has taken steps to ensure the Jewish community feels safe, through providing better support to ensure security and safety in Jewish communities. As well as prioritising education, so students in schools and universities are aware that in our diverse society there is no place for hate and discrimination towards any group.
Thank you for your email.
Best wishes,
Alistair

Thank you for your email and I apologise for the time taken to respond.
These murals are clearly inappropriate if not illegal, and I would expect that they have by now been taken down by local authorities accordingly.
I will be sure to look into this to ensure that this has been done.
Best wishes,
Rachel

WHAT IS THE POINT OF SENDING EMAILS?
So few MPs do give substantial replies.
The main point of sending these emails is not so much to receive replies, but for me to prompt the MPs into thinking about Islam in a more realistic, accurate way.
We have had decades of pro-Islam propaganda. From successive governments. It is taking a massive effort to try to reverse that brainwashing. Using solid facts.
As seen from one or two replies, it is an ongoing need. The task is very far from completed.
There are surely some MPs who do have an accurate grasp of Islam. But they largely seem inhibited from pinning the blame onto Islam itself. Part of the purpose of sending these emails is to show to them that the public (at least the patriotic citizens) are on their side.
I hope that you will continue to support my task. It is quite a mission!
PLEASE ALSO WRITE TO MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT
We must persevere putting pressure on MPs.
If you are able, please start your own emailing to MPs campaign. Write using your own words, don’t just copy my words. It needs to sound authentic and individual, not a centrally orchestrated effort. The instructions for how to efficiently do this are here:

My calling is to do something positive, every day, to push back against the darkness that is surrounding us now. The encircling gloom.
I have written over 20 books, with more coming. See the Book Catalogue article, below. My books are supportive of our freedoms, and are supportive of Israel.
I was fired from my job as an electronics engineer at a UK university. My “crime”: writing a book that criticises Islam. I have subsequently written numerous more books on this topic. I cannot now get another professional job, as I am on the blacklist of Hope not Hate. I have to subsist on low value jobs such as gardening and dog sitting. And selling books too!
I ask for your support, it is gratefully received. Please upgrade to a paid subscription and / or buy me a coffee. It is appreciated!

I do admire your faith in the human race ( if that is what these politicians belong to) and the ability of these MP’s to look above the parapet and view the reality and truth of what they have allowed if not encouraged to fester in our country. I don’t believe however for one moment t that they will ever do anything other than follow the same old mantra and bullshit dogma “diversity is our strength”, “religion of peace” blah blah blah.
Fear seems to be stronger than courage, and looking for votes stronger than doing the right thing. Time for Jews to leave the UK! Next will be the English, Irish and Scots!
